Everwood is a charity that exists solely to provide high-quality care for older people in our community. We offer nursing and residential care at Little Haven Care Home and residential and dementia care at Heartland Manor, both of our care homes in the beautiful New Forest.

Residents are continually encouraged to continue with their everyday routines from walks in the park to collecting their own morning paper.

Our person-centred care at our homes ensures residents receive the respect and attention they deserve at all times.

Heartland Manor is a Residential and Dementia Care Home for 40 residents, situated in the beautiful village of Brockenhurst in the heart of the New Forest. The home is a tranquil setting but is only a stone’s throw from the bustling village and the open forest. The village is thriving with diverse shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and a mainline railway station (with direct access from London) and is situated just off the M27.

Rooms at Heartland Manor are all en-suite toilet, most with ensuite shower/bath and benefit from views overlooking the beautifully kept grounds. Facilities include a Coffee shop, Hairdressing and beauty salon with visiting hairdressers, Communal lounges, and Dining room, movie and Arts & Crafts room. Each private room also has its own telephone line and internet access with Wi-Fi also available in the home.

Our newly created specialist dementia unit offers a new type of care for people living with dementia. This specialist wing has its own Post Office, Florist, Cafe, Dining Room, Lounge, Sensory Room, and interactive journey down the corridor for residents who walk with purpose. Colour influences are designed to help our residents navigate, and the sounds, touch, and visual experiences offer an interesting or calming environment depending on each resident’s daily needs.
