Nursing CareĀ
Respite Care is a short-term stay at one of our homes.
You or your loved one may just need a respite stay for a short period of time and may not be ready for long-term care. Maybe you are planning a holiday, or your loved one may need extra care after a stay in hospital and needs time and care while they recover. A respite stay will give them the care and attention they need until they are ready to return home.
As with all our new residents our care team will complete an assessment of your needs prior to moving into the home so that we can ensure your full care needs can be met. Whether Nursing or Residential Respite Care our team are on hand 24/7 to support our residents and our care team will ensure you receive the best quality of care as one of our residents. We will create a digital care plan to ensure all your needs are met and supported during your short stay at the home.
Even though you or your loved one will only be with us a short time it is important to us that they can continue to enjoy the activities and lifestyle that they always have and have the opportunity to experience new activities and interests with the support of our care team.
Each of our homes have a wide range of activities, clubs and lifestyle choices that are tailored to individual needs and residents are free to choose as many as they wish. We have regular scrabble matches, curling team, baking club, gardening club, arts and crafts, exercise classes and movie nights for all our residents. You may prefer some one-to-one support from our care team and lifestyle team.
Residents and their family and friends can also enjoy fresh coffee and homemade cakes in one of our Connections coffee shops, giving them an opportunity to socialise with other residents too.
