What’s Coming This Christmas at Everwood Care Charity

With the festive season fast approaching, we are delighted to share our full programme of Christmas and New Year events taking place throughout December across Little Haven and Heartland Manor care homes.

A Season of Community and Celebration

This year’s calendar is filled with performances, traditional celebrations, community visits, and special moments designed to bring joy and connection to our residents and their families who are more than welcome to join us for any or all of the events.

This year’s calendar has been carefully planned to bring warmth, joy, and companionship to our homes during this special time of year.

Let’s take a look at the plans for this month…

4th December – Carousel Panto: Cinderella

We begin the month with a classic pantomime performance of Cinderella by the Carousel theatre group. This much-loved show promises laughter, familiar characters, and a wonderfully festive atmosphere.

9th December – Aimi Percival Performance

Aimi Percival joins us for an afternoon of music, performing well-known favourites and seasonal tunes that residents always enjoy.

12th December – Kerry Le Bern Performance

Entertainer Kerry Le Bern returns with her uplifting, feel-good performance, bringing energy and warmth to the homes.

17th December – St Andrews Church Christmas Service

A traditional Christmas service led by St Andrews Church, featuring carols, readings, and a reflective moment together.

17th December (Early Evening) – Charity Christmas Fire Engine Visit

This is one of the most anticipated events of the season and we’re delighted to see it return for 2025. The local charity fire engine will make its festive appearance at Little Haven and Heartland Manor, complete with twinkling lights, music, and a special appearance from Santa and his Elves!

This visit has become a cherished annual highlight, offering residents a wonderful sense of excitement, community spirit, and Christmas magic.

18th December – Jon Rowdy Performance

Jon Rowdy joins us once again with his lively and nostalgic country music set, bringing entertainment and smiles to our residents.

22nd December – Staff Christmas Choir

Our dedicated staff choir will perform a selection of Christmas songs, accompanied by mulled wine and mince pies for residents to enjoy.

25th December – Christmas Day Celebrations

Christmas morning begins with presents around the tree or in the privacy of our residents rooms (whichever they prefer), creating a warm and joyful start to the most magical day of the year. Residents will then gather for pre-lunch drinks followed by a traditional Christmas meal.

In the late afternoon at 3pm, everyone is invited to watch His Majesty the King’s Speech, which is a much-valued tradition shared by many across the country.

26th December – Boxing Day Party

Nothing says Boxing Day like a relaxed gathering inclusive of nibbles, music, and plenty of time to unwind after the excitement of Christmas Day.

1st January – New Year’s Day Party

We welcome the arrival of 2026 with our New Year’s Day Party, offering residents a cheerful and positive start to the new year.

We look forward to celebrating with residents and their loved ones who we kindly ask for a heads-up from if they wish to join us, so we can ensure it is safe for everyone.

Here’s to a season of warmth, togetherness, and memorable celebrations at Little Haven and Heartland Manor. We extend our thanks to the families, staff, performers, and community partners who help make these events possible and look forward to a memorable Christmas season and a positive start to the New Year!

We wish anyone reading this a heartful Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!
